  • Description

    Hello dear reader,

It doesn't make much difference whether you are a host or a traveler, what matters is what I will be able to convey to you with what I have come to tell you at this moment about myself regarding this period of my life.

In the journey I am looking for the opportunity and the way to grow, to expand, to explore myself, to be able to bring to the light of my awareness what I am... or perhaps, better said, what I "BELIEVE" I am, a question that it concerns more or less everyone, it depends on whether we realize it or not :) but this is a rather long and complicated discussion to do in a description, maybe we will address it better and intimately in person one day!

But in other simpler words, I want to evolve. This is the basis of my desire to travel. I thought I could do it by being able to deal with other cultures, other people, other ways of thinking and reasoning, foods, habits, trying to change languages and meanings that others different from me use and with which they give shape to the world they know, and to life in general. And then of course... even a bit of simple landscape and naturalistic exploration of other environments doesn't bother me at all!

I really like reading, studying, listening to and making music, playing sports and being outdoors in the free time I have available. In fact, for example, now until I leave, I would like to dedicate myself to the in-depth study of music and the guitar, because yes, I know how to play it, but self-taught, which means that it is not enough to play well!

I really like nature and everything that can lead us back to it, limiting the use and passage from everything that is "industrialized". By this I mean to say that, if I can, I prefer to stay as far away as possible from every psychological and physical toxic source that progress and technological advancement has brought into the daily lives of everyone around the world... even if at the same time, a PC and a good internet connection can still be of great help, just to lighten things up!

As for the trip to New Zealand... I have a WH visa (working holiday visa) which, for those who don't know, will allow me to stay in the area and work for a maximum of one year, starting from I will actually arrive in the country, therefore from the first days of next May, and by law I will have to change jobs every 3 months. But I believe that Workaway and any work/hospitality exchange have nothing to do with this, in case someone needs to host me for a period of more than 3 months, I don't know, we'll see in case!

Finally, regarding my level of knowledge and use of English, I'm a little rusty in speaking because I never actually speak it, but when listening I can understand most of the words and concepts, or at least I try! Maybe if I have to deal with pure and fast spoken English it will be more difficult, and I simply ask you for patience for this, but despite this you can be quite helpful to me in learning the spoken language better! HA! I forgot!
In fact, don't pay attention and don't rely on how this text is written, I don't know whether it's good or bad, I only know that it was the translator, hahahah!

...And why am I here on Workaway, you ask, if I have a visa that allows me to actually work (for money, like a "normal" job) in the country? Well, very simple... Because I'm looking, at least and preferably in the initial phase of the trip, for a place and a softer way to approach the new country in which I will live, without throwing myself straight into the fray and chaos! So I would try to start by doing something quite simple, which doesn't involve me too much mentally and which in the meantime gives me the opportunity to settle in with the language, the duties and bureaucratic commitments that I will inevitably have to face, and also to settle in with the idea of having to spending a challenging year "alone", on the other side of the world :D That's it!
Having said that, I am still open to any type of work experience here on Workaway and outside of Workaway, I am open to meeting and meeting anyone who wants to join me in this adventure and anyone who will be willing as a host to accept me as a guest in their home!

Goodbye my dear reader, I hope I have impressed you! At least a little, come on! ;D Hope to meet you soon! Bye!

  • More details about your skills

I have a lot of manual skills and I am able to work with most of the working tools. I even worked in naval carpentry for 4 months but I decided to leave my job for health reasons, I liked the job but it was very stressful and very dangerous for my health so I decided to quit. I have worked as a worker many times, I have been an electrician for a short time, I have been a lifeguard 4 times, and now I am a pizza maker and able to work all over the world doing this job. It's a job that I like, as it's quite manual.
I can use work tools, I can weld and work with cutting tools and carpentry in general.
I can also play guitar as a self-taught, not a lot but i can improvise something! i know about boxing and running, spearfhishing and relaxations about it, apnea i mean!
