HI! Im Cal and travelling around Mexico, Guatemala, and who knows where else afterwards. I graduated from University in the US and want to try and improve my Spanish! I travelled around South East Asia last year for about 6 months, although was left wanting more. I wanted to be able to interact with the locals more and not be such a foreigner. This was difficult to achieve as the language gap was huge, and I look nothing like the people from the region ha. Visiting a spanish speaking country was always the goal of mine, my father is Puerto Rican, and learning spanish has been a long term goal of mine. Workaway seems like the perfect opportunity for me to make lasting friends.

Im quite laid back and easy going, love to make jokes and laugh, enjoy basketball and staying active. Im a simple person who doesn't not need much more than the basics.

In terms of 'skills' Id say very few.
Although, I would be willing to learn and work with almost anything asked to do. I had previously worked on a ranch to help create plumbing, electricity, and a fence on the property. Used a bulldozer, Bobcat, and other powertools and equipment on the property. I had no prior knowledge and learned on the spot for that. I am in relatively good shape and am not afraid of manual labor.
