Hi!
My name is Babet! After having solo traveled through southern Europe in my self build van for the last year, I now want to travel with less, and so will backpack through central America for a while!

I love traveling, since my parents have introduced it to me from a young age. Now traveling on my own, I want to work for different Workaways on my way, to meet new people, learn new things, and just in general broaden my horizon.

I am highly interested in everything regarding nature and (ecological) gardening and farming, sustainability, animals, building things with all kinds of materials, maintenance, DIY and all things around being artistic.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

Since I have been spending the last 2 years building out my van I have acquired a few skills regarding building with wood and how to use smaller handheld machines. I'm definitely no professional in carpentry, but with a good explanation I'm sure i can help out in a wide variety of tasks.

I have been going to art classes since being a child and been going to a school specialized on design and art since being a teen. After school i worked as a screen printer for three years and can definitely see myself studying art and design after having traveled for a while. What i want to say; if u need anything creative and artistic done, I'm down for it;)

I have worked in a restaurant too for some while so I have some knowledge around hospitality, serving to and making people feel comfortable. Additionally I have been working on many music festivals in the German summer since being 16, selling coffee and breakfast. There i learned how to manage a booth, work as a team and having a good time:D

Last but not least I love to cook!
