Description
Hello everyone,
My name is Antoine and I have been studying physical geography in Paris for 4 years. I am passionate about mountain environments and I would like to specialise in natural risks in the mountains. More generally, I love discovering new cultures and being able to learn all sorts of things from the people I meet. This year (2022-2023), I have decided to take a gap year to improve my English in order to do internships in geography in foreign laboratories. It is also an opportunity for me to step back from the stressful life in Paris and meet new people. I would like to learn more about wildlife but also about sustainable agriculture. I am very willing to help others in their different projects and I like to feel useful.
Hey, my name is Solal, i'm 23 years old. I live in Paris and studying geography & environment in master's degree. I have the soul of a traveler, i wish to discover new places and people's as much as possible. I did a gap year travelling across Europe & Turkey in a camper van, it was an incredible experience. Open-minded I am always ready to listen to stories, discuss on various subjects… I have already done a lot of different jobs in my life: waiter, informatic, van renovation, cleaning service… I hope to meet you soon :)Interests

Since I (Antoine) was old enough to work I have had the opportunity to do a number of summer jobs to finance my studies. In particular, I worked in the wine industry. Later on I did some handling work in large food companies. Later I was a cashier, a receptionist or a salesman in a clothes shop. So I am rather versatile. Physical work is not a problem for me and I have a good relationship with people. My university studies have enabled me to develop good writing skills and the ability to work in a team.
Like Antoine, I've (Solal) been working since I was 16 to finance my studies. I've worked as a waiter, but also as a cashier. I've also worked at fruit and vegetable markets. I'm also a good handyman, having renovated the van I used to travel around Europe. Durint this trip i managed an instagram account and practice many social media skills (reels, photography...) I have also good computer skills thanks to my studies.Age

What else ...
Besides geography and discovering new cultures, we are passionate about sports and fashion. I (Antoine) played basketball and football at a high level when I was younger. I also had the chance to coach a basketball team. It was a very enriching experience. We were also members of an association fighting against poverty for 2 years. We were distributing food to the homeless in Paris. My (Antoine) last two workaway trips to the United States and South Africa opened my eyes to the world even more, and I'm eager to discover even more new cultures and landscapes with Solal. It's a way of life that we really enjoy.
