I love the outdoors and going on walks, runs and treks in the countryside! I studied Geography at university which has developed my interests in the natural world and the environment. This curiosity I have towards nature makes me keen to see different landscapes and discover exciting flora and fauna. Meeting so many amazing people whilst travelling has made me so excited to meet so many more.

At university, I was the charity and volunteering officer for Geography Society which involved organising charity fundraising events, arranging volunteering trips to local farms and allotments and creating a mental health campaign for the department. To fulfil this role successfully, great organisation and leadership skills were required. I won the Geography good citizen award for this role demonstrating that I fulfilled this role successfully. This was so rewarding working so closely with Darnell Allotment Project, Helping Hand and Cathedral Archer Project (homeless charity).
During university I was also a student ambassador for the Geography department which involved showing prospective students around, giving talks on university life and chatting to future students and parents. This role developed my confidence and verbal communication skills.
During school, I participated in an excursion to Costa Rica and Nicaragua, which involved a month of jungle treks, building a gym for a local school and meeting people in the local villages. Great teamwork skills formed the foundations of this trip.Age
