Description
I love to travel and meet new people! I'm definitely not one of those travelers that books 5 star hotels and only goes to the touristy-y things because that doesn't give me a good feel for the country (besides, who can afford that??). I backpacked in South America for 3 months and absolutely loved it! All of my best memories are where I was interacting with people I had met, and experiencing the countries the way the locals do. Now, I'm backpacking around Ireland, completing a 3-month knitting project that documents historical Irish knitwear.
I'm an animal and nature lover - I grew up on a farm and volunteer at animal shelters. I also love art and fashion, and science (I was a physics major in college!).Interests

Having grown up on a farm, I am skilled at animal husbandry (the farm had meat sheep and chickens both for meat and eggs), gardening (fruit & nut trees, vegetables, etc.), and building/handywork (I've helped build sheds, irrigation systems, and done some electrical work).
I babysat and tutored children for about 10 years. I have done one-on-one tutoring and also volunteered in my community to tutor underprivileged children (I volunteered with the Daniel's Center for Math and Science in Raleigh, if you want to look them up). I have a degree in physics, so I can definitely help tutor kids in math and science, as well as English and the social sciences.
I have a physics degree and also an art degree, so I'm happy to help with any nerdy or artistic projects. I'm good with computers, whether that's for coding or graphic design.Age

The accommodation was great. Her house is lovely, and I essentially had a whole wing all to myself. I had my own room and bathroom, both of… read more
