Hi, I'm Amelie, 18 years old, graduated from highschool in 23 and now I'm taking a gap year in Australia🇦🇺. Here in Australia I've already been to Sydney, Melbourne and Alice Springs. I worked over 4 months in Sydney in a Seafood Restaurant and right now I'm in Cairns to travel the East Coast down to Sydney. I really hope to have some workaway experiences on my way to see more beautiful places and to meet lovely people. I'm open for every kind of work, even if I've never done it before!

In my life I have already done a lot at home, e.g. cleaning, gardening, painting, I worked as an assistant in a pharmacy (over 1 year) and as a math tutor. Currently I'm working as a waitress in a restaurant since last summer where I could also gain experience as a barkeeper.
I am always particularly interested in new challenges but I also enjoy working in familiar fields. 😁

What else ...

I LOVE organizing things. During my school years I was active in the prom commitee and took care of many matters up to prom. We've had a lot of fun.
Besides, my heart beats for dancing. I danced HipHop for about 5 years, but then I had to stop dancing in an association before upper level in cause of the hugh school requirements, work, driving lessons and much more. But I never stopped dancing though. After all, you can dance anywhere! :) I also designed some choreos, e.g. our men's ballet for prom haha. 😂
Otherwise, I plan to learn surfing in Australia because I already had a lot of fun with skiing, inline skating, ice skating and other sports where you move differently than walking.
