  • Description

    Hi!
I graduated from Penn State in May 2023 with a double degree in Global and International Studies and French and Francophone Studies. I am passionate about sustainability. During my senior year of college, I researched and wrote a thesis pertaining to Pennsylvanian residents' perceptions and opinions on potential climate policies relevant to the state. I have experience working outdoors and with children. I am always eager to learn new things!

I work well on a team and in leadership roles, and I am comfortable starting a conversation with anyone! In my last two semesters of college, I worked as the brand ambassador for the sustainable water company, Liquid Death. In this role, I distributed 100 cases of liquid death per month to various organizations on Penn State's campus. This position required self-motivation and creativity.

I have spent lots of time working with children/teens throughout my life. I worked at an outdoor camp called the Aloha Camp for Girls in Vermont. As a counselor, I lead overnight hiking trips for teenage girls (ages 12-16). I also taught teen girls various camp craft skills like how to chop wood and read maps.

I also worked with AmeriCorps as a summer associate. As one of the summer associates in White Sulphur, Montana, I researched, planned, and taught summer programming for low-income children with the aim of continuing their educational development over the summer. Finally, I helped teach English to native French speakers in Aix-en-Provence, France as an intern for By The Way. Eventually, I extended my study abroad in France and participated in my first work away! Through this experience, I constructed mini houses, gardened, sewed, painted, and taught other workawayers how to chop wood:)

I always lead with an open mind and I am passionate about cultural exchange and building global friendships. I was a member of an international peace organization, CISV, from 2015 to 2019. CISV allowed me to participate in summer programming in Lisbon, Portugal, Alta, Norway, and Araraquara, Brazil. The organization focuses on building global peace through international friendships through 3-week long summer camps focused on cultural exchange.
