  • Description

Hi! I am Viktoria and the absolute best thing I know is discovering new places, animals and meeting new people. It is difficult for me to sit still and I am up for all kinds of adventures which bring joy and experience.

I would describe myself as a positive person who finds change and challenges fun. I perfer to find solutions instead of seeing problems. I spend most of my time here in Sweden with my dog, Elliot, hiking, reading, family and friends. Creativety is also a passion of mine, in the forms of photographing, painting etc... Currently I work at a coffee shop as a barista, which I love!

My future plans involve volunteering at a dog rescue abroad and exploring the nature and the culture of the country as well.

  • More details about your skills

First, I would like to say that my best quality is my big heart. I enjoy helping people and animals. When I start a project I choose to do it carefully and thoroughly, with my fullest attention. I am not the kind of person who does a task just to get them over with. I like to go all in.

Secondly, I have a wide variety of experiences. My previous working life consists of babysitting, dogsitting, CAD contructions, cashier in both Denmark and Sweden. Currently i am working as a Shift Leader at a café, which means I lead and develope the team and help them succeed togehter with the manager, while preparing coffee and sandwiches of course.

This has helped me grow my strengths and personality. Such as being responsible, adaptable, caring, to work better under pressure and with different people. I am most definitely stubborn when it comes to completing a task and I don't give up easily. For example I have experienced the power go out a couple of times at work and succesfully managed to get it back on. Also, sometimes we don't have enough room for our products on the display counter, so I have used my ability to solve problems to make room.

Tirdly, people describe me as pedagogical. I like to observe and answer all my curious "why?" questions in my head. Two of my siblings have autism/aspergers and this has made me better at understanding people who aren't as outgoing and maybe have a diffucult time expressing themselves. My colleagues often tell me i'm easy to understand when I explain things. That's why I'm often put in the position to help the new ones learn their tasks.

Lastly, in the future I'd like to work either as an architect, which is what I studied in high school, with human behavior (psychology) or with animals and nature.

  • What else ...

One of my biggest hobbies is dog training. When I where younger I wanted to own a dog training facility when I grew up, specifically for 'problem-dogs'. In my 20 years of life I've had the pleasure of having a Border Collie mix and now a Shetland Sheepdog. Together we have trained obedience, rally, nosework, tricks, but mostly agility. With no doubt I'll live the rest of my life surrounded by dogs.
