  • Description

Last year, I travelled with three friends, a cat and two vans through the Arabian Peninsula and East Africa. Currently, after doing a workaway in Vienna, I'm on a workaway in Istanbul where I'm meeting people from all over the world, learning more about the Turkish culture, and enjoy being in a very international environment.
My main motivation was to experience new cultures and meet great new people along the way! 🤗 The freedom of travelling and getting to know new places and people is one of the best things I know and what better way to do this than emerging yourself in a local project 😊
What makes me happy is travelling (of course 😉), history, nature, singing, and learning about cultures and heritage.

  • More details about your skills

During my studies in archeology and heritage, I've gone to Italy, Portugal and Greece for excavation campaigns. Even though it was long days and short nights, it was definitely worth it!😊 It taught me to work hard in the field, learn about local communities and deal with the administration of finds.
Next to going abroad, I also participated in contest rowing. It was challenging, but I learned how to keep going, push boundaries, and how to work in a team (we rowed with 8 in a boat).🚣‍♀️
My work in restaurants have taught me about hospitality, teamwork and work under stress. Rushhour at the trainstation can be quite hectic while you are giving out customers coffee😅 ☕️
