We are Shirin and Aryo, a couple travelling from Australia! Aryo is a teacher and musician and Shirin is an artist and animator. We live in the countryside about 2 hours from Melbourne and enjoy the arts and nature. We love getting to know new people and different cultures. Aryo is of Indonesian/Australian heritage and Shirin is of Iranian heritage.

We get inspired by how people express themselves through art and their traditions. Whenever we meet someone from a different background, it's like finding a new piece of the human puzzle. Talking, laughing, and sharing experiences with people from all over the world keeps us excited and ready to create. It's like finding new ways to understand and be creative. These connections show us how much we all have in common and make life more interesting and fun. We believe that getting to know people from other countries is the best way to inspire peace and understanding. We hope to get to know you and your community!

Shirin, an Iranian-Australian animator and illustrator, brings a diverse skill set to the table. Proficient in various media, including digital painting and video animation, she adeptly conveys themes ranging from collective memories to cultural influences, Persian literature, modern cultural issues, and philosophical concepts. Alongside her artistic achievements, Shirin has established herself as an accomplished artist with an impressive portfolio of award-winning animations. Her work has received widespread recognition, being showcased internationally, and often spotlighting critical issues such as human rights, women's rights, and the refugee experience. In addition to her artistic prowess, Shirin has extensive experience working with children, both in creative settings and as a caregiver. Her ability to engage and connect with children adds depth to her work, as she draws inspiration from their perspectives and experiences.

Aryo is an Indonesian-Australian educator, composer, performer, and manager. He is an accomplished language and music teacher with years of experience sharing his passion and knowledge. He is an award-winning performer and has delved deeply into Jazz and improvisation, Cuban son and salsa, and the Balkan brass tradition of East Europe. He has performed extensively in Australia and internationally.

We have a deep appreciation for nature and anything connected with the environment. Whether it's going for hikes, gardening, or simply soaking in the beauty of the outdoors, we find solace and inspiration in the natural world.

Music holds a special place in our hearts, and we often find ourselves jamming together, exploring different genres and rhythms. There's something magical about creating music together and losing ourselves in the melodies.

Cooking is another passion of ours, and we love nothing more than preparing delicious meals and sharing them with friends and family. The act of cooking brings us joy and allows us to express our creativity in the kitchen.

Furthermore, we have a profound love for all types of art forms and collaborations. Whether it's painting, sculpting, or exploring digital media, we relish the opportunity to create and collaborate with others, exchanging ideas and pushing the boundaries of our creativity.
