Hi, my name is Serina, I'm 26 and currently living in LA. My work as a development exec has been impacted by the writer and actor strikes, and am looking to fill this slower time with new experiences. I have had two previous Workaway experiences, both at hostels, in Valparaiso, Chile and a rural town on the coast of Choco, in Colombia. Both were incredible experiences, and I am happy to return to Workaway after a handful of years working to get back in touch with this adventurous community.

I would love to get my Spanish back up to fluency and can teach the basics to beginners, and very interested in learning any other languages (primarily, French, German, Arabic). Happy to help teach English (my primary language) as well!

I'm a hard worker and proficient in Spanish (and fluent in English, which is my first language). I love meeting new people and hearing about their stories and their lives. I don't shy away from any outdoor work or manual labor; I haven't been officially trained in anything but I'm completely willing and able to learn quickly and jump into new tasks.
