Description
I am 56 and teach art in a secondary school. I grew up in the countryside, but currently live in London. I enjoy reading, contemporary dance and films. I am creative, and make my own art, mainly mosaics. I keep fit, going to the gym, running and swimming, I love skiing, and walking. I have been learning French for a number of years, and have done several weeks immersion courses in France, which I really enjoyed, starting in 2015. I enjoy spending time in different places, and getting to know people, their families, friends, and the culture. I feel I need to spend more time in France to practice and improve my French, and am interested in visiting different regions. I have only one workaway experience which I loved, I stayed for several weeks, and helped with painting and decorating, as well as making Jam which was new for me. I found I was able to practice the language more than if it was a holiday. I can work independently, but get on well with others, I am fairly shy by nature, but like to get to know new people, I enjoy working with children, and learning new skills. I am flexible in the jobs I can do, and love helping people in their homes, and gardens.
