I am 29 year old artist and art handler from Milan. I am looking for hosts in the Bergen area: my girlfriend moved there and I wish to join her. A workaway experience would be the best to learn about the place and do something I enjoy while I browse around.

I currently live and work in Milan and before lived in French-speaking Switzerland for 4 years. What makes me fly about art in the contemporary is that it can help people to unbound themselves on the variety of subjects, disciplines and experiences to welcome in life.
Along with drawing and woodcarving I am passionate about DIY/reprocessing and built several tools from scratch such as a chestnuts roaster and a kayak out of plastic waste. Reading on ancient customs, food and manufacturing is always mind-blowing as I get vivid images of the past.

I am pretty much an outdoor person: I have been a bike messenger in my town for many years and I often do hikes in the Alps, a passion that was passed on me by my dad. In summer 2021 I had the chance to live with a sheep shepherd and assist him during mountain pasture for two weeks. This was in the frame of a volunteering program.

I hope I can be of effective help for my host and that I can learn something new. Maybe we won't even hate each other!

I work as sculptor assistant, installer of exhibitions and into set design for fashion: wall-painting, plastering, building structures, small-scale concrete working, gluing things together and hanging stuff. I know most power tools and hand tools as well and I have some experience in fixing and assembling bikes.

I enjoy cooking for myself and others and very curious about food in general, always looking for new recipes. I did some gardening, even though I'm more into cutting and eradicating than growing and it's an activity that I would definitely like to experience more.
