Hello! My name is Nikki. I am a spirited and open-minded person with a passion for exploring nature through gardening, animal care, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and so much more. I just graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering and am excited to learn more about permaculture and sustainable building techniques that I didn't get to learn about in my classes. I have gotten to help on Earthship and Adobe/Dome home builds during my summers off. During these experiences, I've loved the comradery and hard work that comes with a natural building project that needs passionate volunteers. My main desire for travel stems from my curiosity of different cultures, communities, and unique ways of living. I love leaving my comfort zone to fall in love with new places and meet new friends. Some activities that bring me daily joy are cooking, painting, meditating, yoga, and reading!

The skills I can offer include delicious vegan cooking, mixology, compost and gardening, animal care, painting/decorating, and yoga instruction. I also have experience with farm practices and harvesting from working on a kiwi fruit farm in New Zealand. I am familiar with basic woodworking which could aid my learning of construction skills. I am a quick learner and a hard worker so I believe I will be able pick up a necessary skill if it is taught to me.

Although I can't truly play an instrument, I love to listen, sing along, and dance to music. Playing card games, telling stories, and having philosophical chats are some of my favorite ways to get to know someone. I miss stargazing and trying foods I've never seen or heard of!
