Hi !

My name is Mélissa, I'm a 20 years old girl from the South of France. I just obtained my advanced technician's certificate in Biotechnologies, and I'm actually taking a year off to travel.

I always dreamed of travelling, discovering new countries and culture / tradition represent a lot for me. I think that the best way to truly appreciate a country is to learn about it directly from its people. To exchange and discuss about our different culture to grow from the experience.

I already had the chance to travel with my parents when I was young, I may not remember everything now but I still keep some memories. I'm now really eager to travel on my own, to make new experiences, meet people and also find my own self.

I'm a positive and motivated person, any kind of task will be welcome. I do have a preference to be working with animals, to put my creativity to use or to work in and with the nature. I also love to cook and I really like any kind of music.

I would say that my best skills would be my relashionships with animals. Since I was young, I've always been around animals of all sorts (cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats,...) and I've already worked with them in different kind of associations as a volunteer. In addition, I am skilled in horse riding and horse care at an intermediate level.
I worked during my holidays and free times in a sushi restaurant and then in a gas station, so I’m used to serve clients, manage the goods in a shop and prepare the food as a cook.
During my younger years, I worked as a babysitter. It was a really nice experience to look after children and I feel like I have a great relationship with them.
Despite the various skills I have gained over the years, I am always eager to learn and develop a new one.
