My name is Marie-Charlotte but please call me MC.
What I love about traveling is the people I encounter and bond with on the road. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about other ways of living and personal stories and also speak other languages!! I appreciate the time spent alone too because I can find peace and dedicate to artistic activities such as writing, taking photos, drawing and painting. There is so much to discover about the world, this is why I love the saying « the world is your oyster ». I want to make a difference and bring a little change to the earth we’re living on.

I’m a very curious, organized and easy-going person. I have a Master’s degree in English specialized translation so I’m able to translate but also subtitle and dub from English to French, my mother tongue. I know some Spanish from my studies and have been self-learning Japanese for 2 years. I have experience as a language assistant teaching French in the United Kingdom for 8 months. I love food and enjoy cooking. Also I want to be as practical as I can because I value a lot manual jobs and crafting, that’s why I’m really keen on learning more about DIY, gardening, sowing and knitting. Finally, I am very good with computers, both PC and Mac!

I love any kind of games, whether it’s video games (Mario, Tekken, Guitar Hero…), board games (Code Name, Jungle Speed, Cluedo) or card games (Uno!!). I love arcade games, sports, karaoke (basically Round 1 is heaven for me). Also I love listening to all sorts of music and I have been practicing the guitar for some time but I’m a true beginner!!
