Description
Hi, I'm Luca, an Italian guy who lives in the city of Rome. I am currently a university student and I deal with political science. In my life I have always traveled a lot, I love visiting new places, learning about new languages and cultures but above all getting to know new people around the world. I am a lover of nature, I have always preferred the sea, the mountains or the countryside to large crowded cities, I especially like walking in the wilderness to discover virgin places. I am also an animal lover and believe in environmentalism. In my free time I usually read a lot or go for walks in the company of my friends. In the course of my life I have always practiced a lot of sport, I did swimming for a long time and then did judo, jujitzu and boxing. I am a very sporty person and who has no problem with struggling even doing demanding physical jobs. From the workaway experience I would like not only to have the opportunity to travel extensively in wonderful ports but also to learn new things, new professions and alternative lifestyles.

Mainly I could teach the Italian language and Italian culture. I also know how to cook various typical dishes of Italian cuisine. During my travels I learned gardening, different crafts and the use of the main tools for making DIY jobs, wood cutting and general life on the farm. I also have experience as a babysitter. I know the basics of riding horses. Hard work is not a problem. I know how to be with animals and take care of them. I work part-time in the restaurant world as a waiter and room attendant.

A truly unique experience. The hostel is in a perfect location in the old town, it has a terrace that offers one of the best views of the city. Luca was an amazing workawayer who arrived right when we needed serious help. A freak ice storm felled lots of trees and limbs in our yard, and we required much help getting the yard cleared of bruch, and the limbs and trees cut into firewood and stacked. Luca stayed with us for one month in July 2021 he helping with gardening, plus with various maintenance work. All the work he did was perfect. Luca has excellent English and was a pleasure to host. He was very respectful and we would highly recommend him. Luca come back and see us sometime soon.
