Description
Hey my name is Lisa I’m 28 years old and from Germany. After I finished school I started working as a nurse and after 10 years I finally took my chance to fly to Australia! I hope during this journey I get to know myself even better and develop further. I would describe me as reliable and independent.
I like to explore the nature and different ways of life. Back in Germany I played handball in a team.
I would describe me as extremely tidy and with an eye for the details and things that needs to be done (my parents did a good job with me). 😅
I like to help with cleaning in and around the house and I’m willing to help you with some gardening (I would be happy to learn some new things from you because I don’t have much experience with gardening).
When I started my WHV I stayed 3 months at my brothers house with his newborn son. It was a pleasure to see him grow older and I think during this time I could definitely learn a few things about childcare. So I’m happy to find a host with children.

I did just one Workaway before but I could easily adapt to new tasks and I always try to find the most efficient way to complete the work. After some instructions I can work independently and I like to keep myself busy. It’s a natural thing for me to clean up after every job I’ve done.
I worked for 3 months at a vineyard near Margaret River and got experience in pruning and I also learned a few things about the layering of new wines and the maintenance after the season.

What can I say? Staying at Miranda's and John's was just awesome! I stayed there for two weeks and they were so kind to let me stay with them as I had issues with my camper van and desperately needed a place to stay while I was waiting for my car to get fixed. Having Lisa to stay with us was so wonderful. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and a very hard worker. She threw herself into any task without hesitation and was also very proactive in doing things. Lisa was a pleasure to have in our home. She was meticulous in her approach to the work and fearless around new tasks in the garden. Her nursing skills also shone when we vaccinated our lambs.
