Hi, I'm Laurine, I'm French and I'm 23.
In November 2023, I started a sabbatical year after graduating in packaging engineering.
I'm currently travalling by train to different countries to meet new people, discover new landscapes, learn new things and improve my English.

I did a workaway in a campsite near Oslo for 2 months. I did renovation work such as painting and building wooden beds, and I looked after animals (goats, rabbits and chickens).
I adapt easily to different tasks. I have various experiences thanks to my numerous student jobs as handler, cleaning lady, letter carrier, grape picker, baby-sitter...

I love spending time in nature and doing outdoor sports like hiking, skiing, bivouacking... I also like to spend time indoors, doing DIY, cooking.

I've done various student jobs as a handler, cleaner, postwoman, inventory clerk, grape picker, babysitter...

I worked as a volunteer in a hostel in Croatia for 1 week in 2021. I was in charge of interior maintenance (cleaning, tidying up, reception) and exterior maintenance (tidying up, watering the garden). I found this job via the work away website.

I've done a number of internships in packaging engineering, which is my field of study.

I'm passionate about hiking and backpacking, which allows me to discover new landscapes and meet new people.

I'm also very interested in volunteering.
I founded a humanitarian and environmental association for students.
I took part in a humanitarian action in Senegal to help build a classroom for children with learning difficulties.

I love DIY, making things like decorations and wooden furniture, and I recently took an introductory course in pottery.
