Hey! I'm Laura. :)
I was born in Germany and apart from my travels, I've spent my life here.
However, I have been drawn to faraway places for as long as I can remember. So, after 7 years of employment, I quit my job in order to now mostly travel.

I would like to use Workaway intensively to get to know my destinations and above all the people there and to support them with my knowledge and my work.

But I also hope to enrich you with my company! Friends describe me as a very positive, active, open-minded, communicative, reliable, curious, enthusiastic and creative person.
I love meeting new people & their stories and learning from their experiences.

I enjoy trying and learning new things the most. So, over time, my hobbies have consolidated: photography, cooking, all kinds of water sports, creative activities such as designing, handicrafts, drawing and everything with music.

I no longer have a permanent job, but a flexible part-time job. I work as a tour guide for small group tours for the "Millennials" target group, where I explore our destination with the groups and am responsible for: organization, exchange with our local partners, group management, time management, problem management and social media content.
I bring the appropriate organizational talent and empathy with me.

I'm planning to do a workaway after the more touristy trips in order to get to know the destination more authentically and intensively and I'm looking forward to hopefully doing that with you soon!

Language is the most powerful skill in my opinion. So I would always love to learn some basic knowledge of your language and can kindly offer to teach you some german! I am currently trying to improve my spanish skills.

--> you want to realize a project with your company/company and are dependent on an investor/bank for this? I'll help you!
- General business knowledge (Bachelor + Master available)
--> I can give you tips in the areas of marketing, finance, project management, quality management, etc
- Dealing with technology (PC programs, smartphone, camera, etc.)

Things I can do because I really enjoy them:
- Photography & Social Media
--> Content creation, photo/video editing, capturing memories :)
- everything with people: guest care, childcare, leading groups, just being nice :)
(-->I'm just not good at telling jokes ;) )
- lend a hand & also get dirty: whether gardening, construction with wood, housekeeping, animal care, ...
- radiate positive energy (except maybe right after getting up in the morning :) )
