Hello!

We are Kim and Bob, a husband and wife, seeking to learn new skills and languages while also sharing our current skills.

I, Kim, am a teacher and writer. I love art, music, good food and nature. I am interested in experiencing diverse cultures and settings and to advance my language skills in Spanish and French.

As a teacher, I have experience teaching elementary aged students (Grades 1-5) and I have experience teaching both English as a second language (ESL) and Spanish (to nonnative speakers). I would be happy to use my teaching skills to tutor or in a classroom setting.

Bob is a software engineer by trade who has had a life long passion for making things. He seeks to spend less time behind a desk and more time using his hands to learn more skills relevant to construction, permaculture and restoration. Bob has a working knowledge of woodworking, power tools, electronics and IT.

We are both hoping to learn more about the cultures of the countries we visit, connect with like minded folks around the world and work on interesting projects! We are also very interested in using our free time to explore the surrounding area by bike.

What else ...

I (Kim) am a teacher and would be happy to use these skills to provide instruction in varying academic skills. I am also an artist and a writer. My partner Bob is a computer engineer by training but is interested in learning trade skills related to complex projects. Over all, we are interested in learning new skills and meeting new people.
