Hello :)
My name is Kristen but I also go by Kay.
I have a very adventurous spirit. I feel most alive while experiencing and learning new things. Whether that’s a simple walk through a newly discovered part of town, hiking a volcano in a foreign country or learning a new task, immersing my senses into unfamiliar territory is by far my favorite thing to do.
I’ve traveled through every country of Central America as well as Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia. I’ve also spent time in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Scotland and India.
I love people, nature, animals, yoga, healthy food, and good wine (on occasion).
I try to be as optimistic as possible and I easily roll with the punches. I am a very open person and I’m looking to make any and all connections with this beautiful world we live in.
My previous experiences with Workaway have involved homesteading, gardening, permaculture, cooking, babysitting, vineyard work, farm work, helping with social media platforms, and cleaning rental spaces (Airbnb, vrbo, cottages, etc.).
My work experience has mostly been in the hospitality sector but in the past few years I’ve ventured into content creation and marketing.
I have 500 hours of yoga teacher training in my bag of tricks.
