I am currently at home In Michigan. I love to hike, swim, cook, dance and rock out on my instruments. I want to learn more carpentry sills and deepen my herbalism knowledge.

Description

My name is Kara! I am 29. I’m very down to earth and easy going. With a huge adventurous heart.
Im a huge people person but also value time to connect with myself. For work I travel bartend seasonal jobs. I find Workaway to be a good way to take a break and go to places I've never been. Im an herbalist in the works and I feel it’s best to learn through having a hands on experience. I spent a few months in Hawaii in late 2021 doing a farm stay. It was such a soul enriching experience. I have experience in planting, starting seeds, heavy weed whipping, mowing, turning soil, composting and animal care. I have worked with chickens, ducks, horses, snakes and small rodents. I grew up in a zoo pretty much! I also have experience in dog training. I’m a dedicated person there isn’t a task I won’t try with 100% effort.
I like to spend my free time cooking for friends and family, biking, hiking, doing yoga, playing my instruments and reading. My goal in life is to help people to the best of my abilities in the most authentic way.
