Greetings! My name is Kai, I'm from Germany.
After finishing school I wanted to take a break before studying and so I came to New Zealand. I want to get to know new cultures, people and skills while improving my English at the same time.

As an active person who loves being out in nature, experiencing adventures and enjoying the moment together, New Zealand is the best country for this. In my free time, I enjoy activities such as swimming, cycling, hiking, skiing, kayaking, surfing and diving.
I view myself as a warm-hearted, approachable, supportive, joyful, creative, and open-minded person.

- DIY and building projects (Painting walls, building furniture, refurbishing everyday items)

- I did three internships, one in a carpentry workshop, one in a kindergarten and one with an architect.
- I enjoy cooking
- Together with friends, I organised an event to raise awareness of blood cancer

Since I was a kid, I helped in the garden, removing weeds, cutting trees, mowing the lawn and everything else that had to be done in the garden. During this time I developed an enthusiasm for Fischertechnik, with which I constructed and built small machines. As a teenager I did an internship in a carpentry workshop where I designed and built my own furniture.
Apart from that I like to help in the household, like repairing everyday things (e.g. washing machines) but also painting walls and of course cooking. In a school workshop I learned how to deal with electrical engineering and installed my own lighting system. Last year I helped a friend build a campervan from scratch.
