Hey!

My name is Julie, I am from Vienna and I just graduated from high school. In the following year I would love to travel and to work in foreign countries.

I enjoy long walks in the nature with my grandparent’s dog or riding my bike through the fields and forests along the Danube. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me as well. We love playing card games, talking or watching a movie together. Due to the fact that I smile and laugh a lot, people often tell me that I have a positive energy. I am open minded and eager to learn new skills and to meet people from all over the world.

I care for the environment, therefore I take part in political actions and try living my life in a way that doesn’t harm the climate too badly. Furthermore, I love animals, nature, dancing and music. I like every time of the year, but I especially get excited when winter comes and I can go snowboarding!
I feel comfortable when I am around animals, especially around dogs. I love that you can build up a friendship with them and of course I like it to cuddle :) Moreover, I’ve spent a lot of time with horses in my childhood, I went vaulting and also learned horseback riding.

I would consider myself a responsible and independent person and I am willing to do hard work. Treating everyone with fairness and respect is fundamental for me and during my time as a Workawayer I hope to get to know different lifestyles and personalities.

In my family, eating dinner together is a tradition and I always learn a lot when I help out with the cooking. Furthermore, I often help my grandparents in their garden, with the firewood or some maintenance work. Even though I might not be packed with muscles, I am strong and not at all afraid of hard work.
I am reliable and I take responsibility for my actions. I have a strong opinion which I express in respectful discussions and when my friends aren't in a good mood I am often the one who motivates everyone and cheers them up.

I like children and have experience in babysitting, both with younger and older children. Moreover, I regularly work at the front desk of a medical office, this taught me how to handle the wishes and complaints of patients.
The last four years I’ve spent in a school with a focus in arts, therefore I am familiar with things like pottery, screen printing or sewing. I love photography and I’ve been playing piano for some years now. Furthermore, I have knowledge of the steps of standard and latin dance.
