Hello! :)
My name is Julia, I am 24 years old and I am from Hanover, Germany. After living and working in Bavaria for a few years, I am back in Hanover where I am currently studying "International information management", which is a mix of language science and information science.
I enjoy being outside very much - for example for running or hiking or just for enjoying the nature. I am also very much into swimming - I have been swimming in different teams, (general teams and life guard teams). I also like doing creative things like painting, sewing and writing.
I enjoy traveling - while I was in school I did an exchange in France, after high school I spend half a year in Canada and I just came back from a semester abroad in Norway.
I like meeting new people, learning new languages and getting to know different fields of work. Before and next to my studies I have already been working in a lot of different fields (for a fruit farmer, as a german teacher, in a marketing agency, in a publishing company, for the german railway...) I also had two workaway experiences which I enjoyed very much and where I was able to learn about gardening/farming, about babysitting and about running a bed & breakfast.
I am very open minded and happy to help with a lot of different tasks.

I have some experience with gardening and farming from one of my previous workaway experiences. Nature and environment are also topics that interests me very much and in which I am very motivated to learn.
In the other workaway experience I gained some knowledge about working with tourists (I helped in a Bed & Breakfast) and about cooking and food - something that is also very important to me at home (I love cooking in a healthy way and if possible with ecological and regional products).
I also like spending time and playing with kids :) I do have some experience with it due to an internship in a school and my workaway experiences where I took care of a 4 year old girl. I also gave teaching lessons for kids and youth in german and math next to my studies. Thats why I would also be very happy to help with language exchange (I am fluent in german and english and advanced in french).
I did an apprenticeship in a publishing company where I worked in different departments, for example in marketing, social media and the organization of events, so I have some skills in these fields as well if it could be helpful for anything. :)
