Hey there!

I get motivated by being surrounded by compassionate and driven people. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing those I care about succeed, human connection's really important to me: I'm a people person!

I'm spending 3 months in Denmark as a means of seeing the country and learning the language (and eating my fair share of the local cuisine aha). I'm looking for opportunities to be outside pushing myself mentally and physically, and seeing a bit of sunshine along the way.

I'm very keen to improve my Danish, as of late February it currently rests slightly above zero so any environment where I can immerse myself in it would be super appreciated. I'm also able to teach English and French competently, having experience coaching the latter in one-on-one sessions.

I am vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 Pfizer shots) and I am applying for a working holiday visa for Denmark to give me full working rights.

My educational background is in Electrical Engineering, I worked in network projects for a telecommunications company in Australia before travelling. On the road I've spent a good half year on a dairy farm (Switzerland), as well as a couple months working as a bartender (France) and volunteering for a community organisation (Italy).

I enjoy the outdoors and have led guided day hikes in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland, as well as having hiked many of Australia's most popular multi-day treks.

I speak English and French fluently, and can speak German at an advanced level.

I love playing all manner of boardgames: Settlers of Catan, Powergrid and Carcassonne, as well as card games such as 500, Whist and 7 Wonders.
