Description
Hey, we are Johanna & Sophie and we are currently looking for a nice place to stay and work at in Ireland.
We are from Germany, 21 and 22 years old and we’re both studying to become teachers. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and cycling and we’ve both been working a lot with groups of kids and teenagers in our free time.
Johanna worked in a German boarding school for one year before she travelled to Israel and worked in a bilingual, interreligious kindergarten. She really likes getting to know new people. Sophie is creative and spends her free time with painting, upcycling, sewing, and making films. Not only as a member of the local fire brigade, she’s very handy.
Last summer we had a great time travelling through Ireland. Via Workaway we found wonderful hosts and places to live and work at. We had a great experience with childcare, gardening and working in a hotel in Lisdoonvarna during the matchmaking festival 😊 So we’re now looking forward to our next adventure!

We love to work with kids and teenagers. In our free time we’ve been working with several youth groups and have cared for children.
Travelling with workaway, we gained experience in gardening and hotel work (bar, kitchen, work as waitress).
We are good at cooking, baking and making jam, as well as we love creative activities like painting or upcycling.
We always enjoy to learn new stuff (language, food, traditions,...), so we’re also happy to help with anything you can teach us!
