Hey,
my name is Johanna and I would love to travel the world to immerse myself in other cultures and languages and find lifelong friends.

I am studying education for English and Spanish language because languages and cultures are very exciting and I love working with children.

I like to spend my free time with my family and my boyfriend (playing games, hiking, camping when we have holidays). I am a swimmer, a member of a club where I also volunteer as a swimming coach. Moreover, I regularly go to dancing lessons with my boyfriend and am a passionate book reader and writer. Furthermore I meet up with friends regularly to go out, have a party, cook together or do other activities the city has to offer.
I am always open to new things, curious about life in other cultures, the languages, cities and landscapes. I laugh a lot, am considerate and helpful.

I am looking forward to meeting you and hope we will have a great time together.

Host family travel experience:
Summer 2022: 2 weeks in Dublin (language school and host family)
Summer 2023: 2 months as an Aupair in Spain
September 2023: one month Workaway in Vancouver

More details about my language interests
I am studying education for English and Spanish language (C1 level English, B2 Spanish). Therefore I am able to teach both languages. Nevertheless I am always trying to improve my skills even more.

I bring a lot of experience with childcare due to Aupair and work experience as well as family conditions.
I have three younger sisters 10,8 and 5 years old) and younger cousins (15 and 4) who I grew up with and look after regularly.
I have been volunteering as a swimming coach for 6 years. The groups I teach weekly consist of 8 to 12 children between the ages of 5 and 10. During the autum holidays, our club offers a training camp and on some weekends we organize camps too, therefore I know how to reconcile different age groups or find compromises.
I have the German Lifeguard Badge Silver.
I grew up with dogs and cats and used to go horse riding and had a foster horse for a while, so I am also familiar with dealing with animals.

I could not upload photos from voluntary work at home due to the children involved (a lot of parents don't want their children to be seen in swim suites on the internet which I respect) I apologize for that.
