Hello there, my name is Jakub and I am planning to come back to exploring the world via Workaway from June!
I did almost a whole year of workaway back in 2022, it was really great experience for me and after such a break I am very eager to continue getting to know other countries culture.
During this break I also started freelancing and plan to continue doing that while travelling, although I in almost all cases I don't need more than 10/15 hours a week for that, with full flexibility regarding the hours, so no worries there :).
As a home cook and a foodie, I love cooking, sharing recipes and eating new food. I also enjoy very much learning new languages
I would describe myself as adventurous person, I love learning and doing new things, although I am not scared of more stable premises, I have can-do approach most of the time :).
I do well in hospitality positions (experience from 2 hostels I volunteered at)
I am not afraid of any work and I am really open to new experiences, people and cultures as well as being optimistic ;). I integrate very easily and really like helping others.
Regarding my background I was studying economy related major, but worked mainly in IT related office jobs. Apart from that I was private tutor for some time (English and Mathematics)
I like sports and keeping active, especially volleyball and cycling.Interests

I would say that my biggest skill and interest lies in cooking, and all areas related to that. My favorite discipline is something that I call "scrap cooking", which is basically making something tasty from what is left :). I was also making my own cider and wine for some time, with quite good results. Since I was working in IT I am quite adept with computers, analysis and bit of programming too.
I was also sailing a couple of times, so know my way around . In any case, I am eager to learn and learn quickly new things, so this section will be growing ;).
I worked in a restaurant as a cook and cooked in hostels for up to 30-40 people at once.Age
