Description

Hello Everyone!
We are Ivett (37) and Dori (35), a couple from Hungary.
We decided to give up our lives in Hungary and in 2024 we will travel with Workaway for 1 year. Our target is to travel around Southern-Europe, visit new places, get to know different cultures, meet interesting people and support them in their projects.
Besides these, this year we want to slow down, because Ivett runs her own barber salon and Dori is a customer service manager so we have a quite busy life. Ivett wants to deal more with writing and Dori's goal is to improve her drawing and tattooing skills and both of us are interested in yoga learning.
We like travelling, hiking, and we love nature and animals. These are the things what refill our souls in today's rushing world.

All the apartments what we have had till now were decorated and renovated by us (like wall painting, putting on the wallpaper, installing the laminated floor, puzzling furniture, preparing our own little furnitures). Ivett's barber salon was also done by us.
Ivett's dad lives in a small village and we regularly help him in the gardening tasks, and smaller renovating jobs around the house. At home we also have our own "little garden" what an appartment allows.

During our previous Workaway experiences we took care of animals (horses, goats, chicken), we weeded in the garden, trimmed oil trees, harvested quince and grape and did many other smaller tasks around the house.

Cooking is part of our everyday life, the kitchen is a central place in our home. This is where we spend our afternoon, discussing our days during preparing our dinner. We don't have any food intolerance, the only thing what we don't eat is fish. We wouldn't say that we are vegetarians but we can exist without meat and we regularly prepare vegetarian dishes.
We loved cooking for our hosts both continental and Hungarian dishes.
