Description

Hello, my name is Hannah Myers. I have been living in Cork, Ireland since 2000. I was born in B.C, Canada and lived for a number of years in Glasgow, Scotland.

I am 31 years young, energetic, good health, adore physical and manual labour, animal mad, makes good cakes and nachos.

I have a degree in drama and theatre, and an MA in Creative Writing. I have found a love for writing dark prose, musicals, song writing and script-writing.

I have alot of life experience and have worked many jobs from a young age, from babysitting, to farm work, working in a equestrian and small animal center, dog walking, security sector, cooking in restaurants, manager of a shop for 5 years, film work (props and production team), assisting young and older adults with different disabilities, working from a thearpy aspect with older people with agression, behavioural difficulties, memory loss and dementia via art, drama, writing, companionship and exercise in my local hospital.

From living life, I have lost myself from lack of creativity, what i really want to do and from the 'rat race'.

So here I am, making change happen and doing what is in my heart.

I would love to work with animals, so an animal sanctuary/rescue farm would be perfect. I would like to write, exercise and enjoy nature in my spare time.

I grew up on a mini farm, alas i have plenty of experience with dogs, cats, rescued battery chickens, rescue pigs, hamsters, birds and Shetland ponies.

I adore food, trying new recipes, baking, kayaking and snorkelling and beaches.

Pigs are my absolute favourite animal thanks to my rescue pigs Jenny and Rosie ❤️

I adore learning about dinosaurs also, and any reptile.

I have experience in the arts (teaching drama, art and creative writing). I have experience working with animals, cleaning and mucking out pens, feeding, administering medication to animals and humans. I have experience in kitchens, cooking and cleaning, waitressing. I have experience working with young children and adults with intellectual disabilities. I have experience working with older adults with brain damage and dementia.
