Description

We're a married couple from Canada, currently in Germany. I grew up on a farm in rural Canada and we're both from the Canadian prairies. I hold dual citizenship with Germany and we lived several years in Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, and France. I grew up with several cats and dogs and love pets - we fostered cats in Germany but haven't been settled enough to adopt a pet yet.

We're keen organic gardeners and practice permaculture and no-dig gardening. I've worked at an organic market garden for a couple of years and Graham worked in an organic plant nursery.

Graham is a musician/writer and I'm a food photographer/author and certified yoga instructor. We run a couple of recipe websites and work from home. Graham has an MSc in urban planning and I studied anthropology of food and have been teaching yoga for 10 years. We're both in our 30s and non-smokers.

What else ...

We renovated our house in the Netherlands with eco-friendly materials (clay paint and plaster, lime paint, cork flooring, flax insulation, etc.). We have some experience with farm animals like sheep, pigs, and cows, but haven't worked much with horses though we have spent time around them.
