Description

We met 5 years ago while working at the same ski resort in Canada. David was over on a working holiday visa from Australia and Jordan took time off nursing to enjoy the winter snowboarding in the mountains. We immediately hit it off. After the ski season we did a van life trip down the west coast of the USA. Since then we have worked and traveled together around Canada, USA, Australia and most recently a winter season in Hakuba, Japan.

We are looking to deeping our experience in Japan and try new roles and see new places!

David -
I am a qualified chef for more than 10 years. My experience ranges from breakfast cafes, fine dining, ski resorts, food costing, menu writing and hiring.
I also have housekeeping experience, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, vacuuming, mopping etc...
Social skills and communication skills are also a characteristic.


Jordan -
Background is in nursing, I have been a nurse for 9 years that has specialized in palliative/ end of life care. Previously I held a working holiday visa in Australia nursing. I worked as a driver for a ski lodge in Hakuba this winter with housekeeping and kitchen relief duties.
In my time off from nursing I have worked at various resorts throughout Canada in roles such as: Guest services/ Snow shoveling, Retail, Mountain Safety Operations. I also have previous experience in Canada driving commercial delivery trucks.

We are both currently in Japan with valid working holiday visas and international drivers licenses.
