I am 29 years old, currently backpacking around Europe with my partner, Tia 25 years old, we are from Brisbane, Australia. Before coming to Europe, I was a carpenter by trade and Tia was a nanny and just finished a diploma of youth work. We love the outdoors, and you may find us hiking, swimming or exploring on a beautiful day or we also love to read a book with a nice tea or coffee or sit outside and have a chat/play boardgames or play with animals. We have previously stayed with a family in Bulgaria for 6 weeks helping with housework, gardening, rendering, plastering, carpentry work, building stonewalls and painting. We also worked at a hostel for 3 weeks in Albania where we did reception work, cleaning and making beds, socializing and preparing food.

I am a qualified builder in Australia and have various skills in construction. I have also done a fair amount of farm work including driving tractors and tending to grape vines on a family vineyard. Tia has years of experience in reception work and nannying/working with children. At our previous volunteer job, we gained skills and experience in plastering, rendering, painting, concreting and gardening/landscaping.

What else ...

Tia and I are always down for an adventure and enjoy hiking, riding bikes, going to the
beach, snorkeling, playing and learning new card games, making new friends, photography, reading and learning about other cultures and different ways of living around the world. We are very flexible with our work and are happy to work different times or shifts to one another, we are keen learners and go-getters :)
