  • Description

Hi! My name is Cormac. I am from Dublin in Ireland. I have lived here with my family for all of my life. I am currently studying in Dublin City University to become a teacher of Spanish and Irish.
I am outgoing, sociable and easy going. I like nothing more than to laugh. I love to talk about anything, from philosophy to the weather [I won't stop talking if you don't!] I like exploring new places and making new friends. I am passionate about Irish culture and history.
I am looking to travel to broaden my horizons and see life from a different point of view. I want to learn how different cultures live and enjoy life. I would love to get far away from home for a while and immerse myself in the local culture. I plan to do a bit of travelling before i return to college in September. I have travelled to places such as Italy and Scotland and really enjoyed them. I did a Workaway in Palestine last year and it has been one of my favourite experiences ever. I also did a cultural exchange in Spain and the experience really had a positive effect on me.

  • More details about your skills

I know my way around the kitchen and love to cook any type of cuisine. I have worked in a local restraunt so I am good at leaving a kitchen clean and orginized.
I am fluent in Irish and English and speak Spanish at an advanced level. I am intermediate at Italian and I am currently learning Arabic. I would love to teach you a language!
I can play the guitar and bass and understand music theory reasonably enough. I am in a band in Dublin. I can teach music, whatever from traditional Irish or rock.
I am good with orginisational skills and management. I have worked as a gardener and water tank cleaner so I'm good with plants and not afraid to get my hands dirty.
I have done work experience in play schools and primary schools so I can work with children. I participated in the Sky Sports for Living programme in my school in which i played sport with teenagers with disabilities so I have experience interacting with disabled people.
