Hi, I'm a mature (not old!) student of English language and literature. I'm a quiet guy, who has spent most of his life in manual labour work, so I'm definitely not work-shy. I have always had a passion for learning new things, and my career plans had become stagnant so decided to go back into education after being furloughed during the early part of 2020.

My skills and experience are wide and varied, and I'm physically fit (for a 45 year old) For the past few years I've mainly been involved in some semi-skilled engineering work, warehousing, and logistics. I'm IT literate, and can find my way round most software easily, I can be a bit of a geek with computers although no formal qualification.

I have experience of customer service from a few roles during my younger years, mainly from my involvement within the gaming industry, this strengthened my skills in diplomacy and problem solving.

I practice Tai Chi regularly, as I find it beneficial for physical and mental health. I'm more likely to be found with a book in my hand and listening to music rather than going out on the town. (more to be added later)
