Hi! My name is Chris and I'm from the Netherlands.

I'm friendly, open, curious, honest, creative.

I'm willing to take on any task and will strive to carry it out to the best of my ability.

I spent the first months of 2021 at a folk high school in Norway. I got to experience outdoor life in incredible nature. After that I did several Workaways in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In 2022 I lived in Molde, Norway. I worked as a waiter, caretaker and taxi driver. It was exciting to learn these new skills.

I spent the biggest chunk of 2023 travelling Spain and Morocco, doing a couple of Workaways combined with backpacking. Leaving Europe for the first time made me eager to explore the rest of the world, too.

It is my plan to spend the remainder of 2024 in Asia, arriving to New Zealand on a working holiday visa before the end of the year.

Before my travels, I studied Communication and Multimedia Design. I then lived and worked in Germany for a year. It is my goal to build and live in a tiny house for a tall person. If inbetween my trips I should find time and governmental permission, of course.

Christ stayed with us for 4 weeks. It is very friendly, honest and trusting, we had a good feeling to have him with us. He built a wood stove out of natural stone. We had nice evenings together and meals together, as well as very pleasant conversations. We would be happy if he comes back. He is always welcome.

Leyilah is a very kind, warm and welcoming person. I enjoyed spending time together.

When it comes to the work, there's a lot of freedom in what to do. I mostly worked in the garden, which I enjoy a lot. I did struggle a bit with the indirect communication and sometimes not knowing what to do.

Chris is really pleasant to be around, and he's very helpful. Chris helped a lot in our garden, he didn't need instructions on what to do, and he was gentle and efficient in the garden, which was much appreciated.

My stay at Eric and Eva's place was amazing! I was only there for a good week, but we had a great connection.

I joined Eric with chopping and transporting trees. We worked in unison and I learned a lot.

Thank you for coming to us. You fit in perfectly with what we needed help with. You cut a lot of grass, painted a lot of things, weeded, helped make firewood and did several other tasks.
You performed all the tasks in a very good way. You were gentle and nice to be with, and even spoke fluent Norwegian.

I stayed with Marit and Torgeir for four weeks, and I loved it. Soon after I arrived, it felt like home. I did painting and garden work. The area is nice for hiking.
