Hi hosts and workawayers,
I’m on my first solo travel experience through South America and I’m looking to volunteer somewhere to connect more with local people and the culture as well as improving my very basic Spanish. I love hiking and the outdoors and South America has been an absolute dream for all of this! :)

Back in Australia before I left I worked as a project manager for the water company. Before that I worked as a process engineer in wastewater treatment. I have previously volunteered in the Philippines helping distribute building materials and removing rubble after a typhoon as well as taking fun classes with the local school kids. I’m open to contributing in any way I can. Ideally it would be great to find an opportunity to work with the local people.
