Hi, I am a 25 years old girl originally from Ulm, Germany - a hidden gem in the southern part of the country. I am currently doing a Master´s degree in International Management in the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. I decided to move abroad for my Master´s to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person. Apart from this experience, I have already studied & worked abroad in a small town in Canada, Paris, Sydney, Lisbon and Geneva.
I have worked in Marketing / Brand Management for big international corporations before and realized that life for me is so much more than investing yourself into one corporate job and working crazy hours while giving up your life. For me life is about the experiences, making memories, meeting new people, having great and meaningful conversations, laughing together, learning new skills and having diverse interests.

Why do I want to do Workaway? As I am in a very career-oriented environment in my Master´s degree currently, I decided to ground myself and take time to reflect on myself this summer to find out where I see myself in the future.
On top, I really want to improve my French, so I am aiming to immerse myself in a French-speaking environment (I would describe my level as A2).
Also, I really enjoy cultural exchanges, so I am looking for a Workaway place where I am integrated and treated as part of the family / community to experience the culture and traditions and meet new people.

What motivates and brings me energy? Exploring new things, meeting and spending time with passionate and inspiring people, learning new skills and being able to add value to something.

What brings me happiness in life? Really good music & live concerts (I love classical and jazz music but also so many more different types), Roadbiking (started during lockdown :D) & Mountainbiking, Skiing, Hiking, Kitesurfing (my new hobby since January!), Playing the clarinet (both my parents are professional clarinetists, so I guess it was in my genes already), Pottery (I started a course this year - so fun!), Cooking and baking (I love to try out new recipes, especially healthy one's with fresh fruits and lots of vegetables), Traveling (been to ~40 countries so far, my last adventure was solo traveling in Brazil directly followed by a winter trip to Lofoten, Norway to see the northern lights)
