Hi, I'm new to Workaway and look forward to getting to know new people and places :D
Since I was a child I travelled a lot, loved experiencing different cultures and enjoyed being active outdoors.
From hiking with the Girl Scouts in Scandinavia, travelling through Europe with a camper, visiting and working with coffee farmers in Peru and Ecuador (during an Internship) to volunteering at a dolphin discovery centre in Australia I have seen many facets of life already.
For the last few years, I have been living in Hamburg, Germany to concentrate on my studies in Environmental Engineering and graduate from with top grades.
Now that I am done, I can't wait to travel again.
Since I was 13 years old it has been my dream to visit New Zealand and experience its vibrant culture and beautiful nature. Now this dream can finally come true :)
Due to the wealth of experiences I already had in life, I can easily adapt to new situations and stay positive and motivating to myself and encouraging and empthetic to others, even in more difficult moments.
Despite my adventourous side, I am also a realistic person with great organisational skills. I know that planning a head is a must, even when things don't always turn out as we expect them to. ;)
I don't mind getting my hands dirty and I hope I get to learn a few more skills during my volunteering work.

Organisation of my own time but also of larger groups and Events. (I was a scout group leader for 5 years and was an activist with Fridays for Future)

Establishing and sticking to financial plans (I worked in the finance department of the general student committee of my university and managed the finances of the scouts groups for 3 years)
