Hello, Im Bert, 28, I live in the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Im originally from Belgium. Im currently travelling in south america.

I enjoy being in nature, hiking, gardening, kayacking, etc. I love everything around food and gastronomy (cooking, baking, trying, learning, fermentation). I also enjoy doing yoga and rock climbing.

I speak English, dutch, moderate level of spanish (estoy aprendiendo), quite some german and some french.

Im interested in learning about agriculture, specifically organic agriculture, permaculture and agroforestry. Next to that I love to connect with people over food and nature

I have a degree in Biotechnoloy and Food science, so I know quite a bit of the background of how food and agriculture works (mostly theoretical, and some fermentation experience)
