Hey! We are a couple from Antwerp, Belgium.
We love travelling, meeting interesting and fun people, learning to understand new cultures, and so much more.

Now more then ever, we want an alternative experience instead of travelling from place to place all the time. We want to connect deeper.

Riet was studying dentistry and decided to take a year off to empower her mind and push boundaries. Besides science, she also thinks psychology, sociology and journalism are fascinating!
She's also interested in art and paints/draws in her free time. So she loves to help paint something or help with esthetic things. Furthermore she was in the youth movement for twelve years so she knows the value of social contacts and is not afraid to get dirty.
She worked in a restaurant and other jobs with clients, so she knows how to be friendly and sometimes solve problems. She also did a lot of fysical student jobs in the festival sector.
She lives alone so she can take care of herself.
Her biggest qualities I would say are that's she's open minded, very understanding, a true listener and always sincere kindness.

Arne would be an added value if you need help with construction. He worked as a roofer and did many construction jobs when he was still studying. He has experience with rope acces. He's strong and eager to learn!
He's not only a handyman. He is a pleasant addition to the conversation as he is funny and fond of deeper conversations in which he learns new aspects about politics, opinions, cultures... He studied political sience for a while and as interesting as it is, sitting all day is just not for him.
He joined this journey with Riet to find out what kind of life he wants or to find something to commit to. And ofcourse to get richer in the mind.
He is sporty so likes to be active. Almost all his life he played football at a high level. Quitting this, was the first thing in changing his lifestyle to a more exploring kind.
I would say his best qualities are open minded, social, pleasant, smart and strong.

We both are hard workers.

We have had a few adventures already. We hiked in the himalaya mountains of Nepal and met a whole new world there. We discovered the beauty of the people and nature in Albania and some other countries. Arne grew up with doing voluntary work in South Africa and one time Senegal. His family has their own project there now.
We are already travelling for 6 months and we've had some volunteering experiences in Colombia. Mainly about permaculture.

We are currently in Bolivia.

We want to be close to the people of a country, because getting to know them, their culture and interests gives a whole new dimension to our journey and empowers our minds.

Somos una pareja de Amberes, Bélgica.
Nos encanta viajar, conocer gente interesante y divertida, aprender a entender nuevas culturas y mucho más.

Ahora más que nunca, queremos una experiencia alternativa en lugar de viajar de un lugar a otro todo el tiempo. Queremos conectar más profundamente.

Riet estaba estudiando odontología y decidió tomarse un año libre para potenciar su mente y superar los límites. Además de la ciencia, la psicología, la sociología y el periodismo le parecen fascinantes.
También le interesa el arte y pinta/dibuja en su tiempo libre. Así que le encanta ayudar a pintar algo o ayudar con cosas estéticas. Además, estuvo en el movimiento juvenil durante doce años, por lo que conoce el valor de los contactos sociales y no tiene miedo de ensuciarse.
Trabajó en un restaurante y en otros trabajos con clientes, por lo que sabe ser amable y a veces resolver problemas. También hizo muchos trabajos de estudiante de física en el sector de los festivales

Vive sola.
Sus mayores cualidades diría que son que es de mente abierta, muy comprensiva, una verdadera oyente y siempre sincera amabilidad.

Arne sería realmente un valor añadido si necesitas ayuda con la construcción. Trabajó como techador e hizo muchos trabajos de construcción cuando aún estaba estudiando. Tiene experiencia con el acceso a la cuerda. Es fuerte y tiene ganas de aprender.
No es sólo un manitas. Es una agradable adición a la conversación ya que es divertido y aficionado a las conversaciones más profundas en las que aprende nuevos aspectos sobre política, opiniones, culturas... Estudió ciencias políticas durante un tiempo y, por muy interesante que sea, estar sentado todo el día no es lo suyo.
Se unió a este viaje con Riet para averiguar qué tipo de vida quiere o para encontrar algo con lo que comprometerse. Y, por supuesto, para enriquecerse mentalmente.
Es deportista y le gusta estar activo. Durante casi toda su vida ha jugado al fútbol a un alto nivel. Dejar esto, fue lo primero en cambiar su estilo de vida a uno más explorador.
Diría que sus mejores cualidades son: mente abierta, social, agradable, inteligente y fuerte.

Los dos somos muy trabajadores.

Ya hemos vivido algunas aventuras. Hicimos senderismo en las montañas del Himalaya en Nepal y conocimos todo un mundo nuevo allí. Descubrimos la belleza de la gente y la naturaleza en Albania y otros países. Arne creció haciendo voluntariado en Sudáfrica y una vez en Senegal. Ahora su familia tiene su propio proyecto allí.

Actualmente estamos en Bolivia.

Queremos estar cerca de la gente de un país, porque conocerlos, su cultura y sus intereses da una nueva dimensión a nuestro viaje y potencia nuestras mentes.
