Hi everyone,

my name is Rodrigo, 35 yo, freelancer hairstylist from Italy actually living in London since the last 14 years.
I decided to invest 6 months in travelling and discovering Asia, starting from India, and then move towards the eastern side.
I’m willing to enrich my knowledge by experiencing places and people truly and authentically, and bealiving Workaway could be an excellent platform to facilitate my journey.

I am already already a multidisciplinary person as I was raised in country side where grew up in contact with rural and construction works, than after studies gave my self to the art of cutting hair. I m a very excited person when it comes to learn new disciplines.
I understand and I am very excited at the challenge to encounter and integrate within different cultures.

My idea is to plan this trip with a more inclusive and less impactful outcome, by creating a more solid and prolonged experiences in a limited amount of places, minimizing as much as possible transportations and touristic consumption.

As youngster I screw up in the country side of Italy and so always been exposed to manual labours of all kinds, from rural to construction. I am very good with DIY, tools and quick at learning new skills.
My body is fit so I can take over any kind of hard work.
As profession I am a hairdresser, which means I can be creative and I have great knowledge of customer service.
On the side I have been working in restaurants, bars and events.
I would love to grow my knowledge on farming, local cuisine and animals.
I have also been teaching Italian and English to Portuguese brasilians in a course of 6 months.
Please consider me as a very versatile person ready to take on board responsibilities.

I play sports like snowboard, tennis, basket, climbing. I love to practice meditation and ancient arts like yoga, tai chi, wing chun.
