Namaste!

I am Aniek (25). Last year, I graduated from my education in Applied Biology. To celebrate, I am going to travel through Nepal for a couple of months with one of my best friends. I am a cheerful, adventurous, and caring person, who is always eager to learn. I have a passion for nature and plants, and I like to be creative.

During a gap year in New Zealand, I have already had some Workaway experiences, and I loved it! So we are definitely planning on doing this again in Nepal.

Overall, I am an open person who loves to learn new skills. I enjoy being creative; painting is a hobby of mine, and I am comfortable with basic construction jobs. I also have a passion for cooking, so please teach me to make the perfect Dal Bhat, and I will prepare some typical Dutch meals in return.

I have studied Applied Biology with a specialization in plants. During my studies, I gained knowledge in plant physiology, (organic) agriculture, and plant breeding. I am eager to gain more practical experience and to explore the differences between Dutch and Nepalese agriculture/horticulture. I think I can be a good conversation partner on these topics.

I also have experience working in hospitality. In the Netherlands, I have worked in a café and a store, and in New Zealand, I gained Workaway experiences in a hostel and a luxury accommodation. I love working with people and always have a smile on my face :)

Furthermore, I have been a leader of the Cubs at the scouting for over 7 years. This role has taught me how to work with children and plan enjoyable activities for them.
