Hey folks,

I'm Andrew. I'm 28 and I come from Dublin, Ireland. I first wanted to start travelling a couple of years ago but we all know what happened there. Having weathered the pandemic I have a pure hunger to travel somewhere and experience a different part of the world. South/Central America is at the top of my list, though I'm open to everywhere.

I've always worked in admin, teaching and service and now I really want to work with my hands. I would love to be involved in projects involving carpentry or woodwork, construction, farming or horticulture, and/or sustainability. I'm very enthusiastic to learn different skills that result in a finished project.

I love learning about and sharing cultures and would love to learn Spanish or Portuguese. In turn I am happy to help people improve their English or even to learn Gaelic. I love folk music and playing with others. I love hiking, swimming and nature. I'm a tidy person and have a handful of meals I can make for groups (mainly vegetarian). I love meeting new people. I am a qualified English teacher and have always been a very active person. I can paint, clean, cook and garden. I am interested in learning skills with woodwork and construction.

I love folk and traditional music. I sing folk songs and am always looking to add songs to my collections as well as passing songs on to others. I can play guitar and learned the fiddle for a few years. I love to read and I write poetry. I have been meditating for years and enjoying anything related to that. I enjoy many different kinds of sports and activities like yoga, martial arts, bouldering, hiking, running, swimming, etc. Essentially, if there is a form of art/culture and exercise I am happy.
