Description
I'm planning to travel in Colombia and am looking for interesting volunteer and work placements where I can contribute and learn new skills. I have travelled like this in Australia, Mexico, and Italy where I have volunteered in some diverse and incredible places including yoga retreats, a pottery farmstay, an edible flower farm, a meditation and solidarity centre, a camp site, an English school, and a guesthouse. All of which were incredible experiences.

I'm open to different Workaways, however, I'm especially keen to find places focussed on yoga, meditation, community, gardening and permaculture, sustainability, art, and healthy and natural living.

In previous work and volunteer placements I have undertaken the following work:

- Gardening: weeding, laying weed mat and gravel, turning flower beds, picking fruit and veg, levelling tent pitches, digging steps
- Kitchen: cooking for large groups, kitchenhand assisting the chef
- Cafe: waitressing
- Housekeeping: cleaning guest accommodation and public spaces
- Workshops: handbuilding ceramics, meditation and mindfulness
- Guest liaison: welcoming and checking in guests

I love yoga and meditation and try to practise daily, and like keeping busy with reading, learning and getting out into nature. I'm interested in learning how to live as healthily and sustainably as possible, and am keen to expand my knowledge and learn new skills.

I really enjoyed my time at the farm and felt very welcomed by the lovely staff and other volunteers. The expected hours are a bit longer than currently listed on the profile: 9am-4pm instead of 9am-2pm, however, I really liked spending all day outside in the beautiful gardens.
