- Travel so far
We both decided to quit our jobs in April of 2023, to gain some new experiences, learn new skills, travel and try something different for a while.
Starting in our home country of the United Kingdom and until end of August 2023. We did WWOFFING (a British workaway) working on a smallholding, with animals and permaculture in Devon and then a nature reserve eco project in Cornwall. As well as scattered pet sitting, house sitting and work exchanges throughout the country.
Before then leaving the UK in September 2023, and workawaying, couch surfing, more pet sitting, animal care and travelling our way through Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Colombia and onwards.

With dreams of New Zealand on or around October 2024. (Visas processing)
We are hoping to Workaway and Couchsurf meeting lots of people gaining experiences and skills through our journey.
-Prior to travel.
Most recently Summer has been employed as a Data Manager for a Marine Biodiversity Data Archive Centre, being therefore very proficient with spreadsheets, organisation and data collection/processing; particularly surrounding species/biodiversity data.
I (Jamie) most recently have been employed by Lower Marsh Farm, local to Cornwall (UK) where I have become competent in groundskeeping some animal care, building work and practical conservation techniques. Prior to that I was a bicycle courier for a few years.
Additionally prior to leaving the UK in September of 2023, we were both voluntary Conservation Leaders for Plymouth Environmental Action (PEA) in the UK where we ran events such as tree care, beach cleans, environmental surveys etc.
Between us we have a large range of skill sets, but most of all are very friendly and positive individuals with no fear of hard work, and a willingness to learn.
Here is our couchsurfing profile as due to some time constraints we have been using this much more in our travels.
