Hello community, I’m in New Zealand from February 15th. I will look for other interested workawayers to visit part of the south island as well as remote landscapes. Do not hesitate to contact me :)
My next destination:
New Zealand - from Feb 2024 until Jul 2024 View allDescription
Hello everyone,
My name is Adèle Sebrie and I am currently studying the Biological Engineering at the University of Compiègne in France. For my gap year, I chose to become volunteer in New Zealand this incredible country that fascinates me since I started actively hiking.
Doing workaway is a part of my gap year project, scheduled for February 2024. For 2 years I was part of an association that sold organic and local products to students. The objective was to make this accessible to all while limiting costs. I finally decided to discover what farm work really was and to learn more about the different ways of agricultural production. Coming to meet you, help you and discover your different lifestyles and practices will be for me a source of knowledge and cultural enrichment that I wish to explore during this time.
I also aim to improve my level of English for the professional world and is therefore very open to meetings and discussions. I am very motivated in my quest, and wish to make my gap an unforgettable experience through our different exchanges.
I am a pretty sporty person on a daily basis, and I have always enjoyed the farm and the animals even though I have never really been able to experience farm work. However I am able to learn and adapt quickly to the needs.
Cheerful and optimistic I am voluntary for all activities and tasks.
I also have some experiences as a babysitter and am actually quite comfortable in the presence of children.
So I look forward to meeting you and exchanging with you :)

I am a student in Biological Genie and realize this year my last at the University.
During my studies, I completed a 6-month internship in a microbiology research laboratory. This internship allowed me to understand the workplace and quickly adapt to the requirements is imposed.
I volunteer to learn and discover new things.
I am very sporty and manual work does not scare me. I grew up part of my childhood in the countryside and I know the constraints that can exist on the farm and am comfortable with animals.
I have during my studies been able to experience childcare and am similarly very comfortable with children.
I am voluntary and dynamic and easily adapt to the work requested.Age
